purchased Levi at the 2007 Appaloosa World Show in Fort Worth, Texas with the
hopes of turning him into an all around show horse. With the help of Lonnie and
Debbie Cruse, that dream is becoming a reality.
This year has been full
of firsts for us. My first show with Levi was in May 2008. I had planned on
showing him earlier in the year, but my job had other ideas and kept me out of
the show pen until then. Levi was such a good boy at that first show. I

trainer Lonnie Cruse showed Levi in Junior Trail for the first time at the last
qualifying show in Fort Worth. Levi qualified for Junior Trail his first time
showing in the class!

thrilled just to make the cut to get into the finals. I didn't expect to make
it into the ribbons. There were some nice horses in that class. One of the
judges even placed us over the class winner in his line up! We also placed
eighth out of 42 in the Non-Pro Hunter In Hand, Geldings. I was so proud of my
Who knows what the future holds for us?
