MY SCOUTING PAGE
I have been involved with the
Boy Scouts of America
since the age of 9 when I joined a Cub Scout Pack in the Buckskin Council in
Charleston, West Virginia. Over the years I've seen and done alot of things and
had a lot of fun. I spent several years as a Scout and then decided, when I
turned 18, that I would like to give something back to the Scouting movement so
I joined up as an Adult Scouter.
All of my brothers (all four of them!) were in the Boy
Scouts, and I'm happy to say that four of the five of us earned the Eagle rank.
I really wish my Scoutmaster was still alive to see how we all turned out! My
father just a few years ago was awarded the Silver Beaver for his continued
service to Scouting and the community (way to go Dad!).
In addition to my other work in Scouting, I collect and
trade patches and other memorabilia.
